MILLENNIUM DRESS: Wedding by Paris Pret-a-Porter and Couture
Following Yohji Yamamoto's Spring/Summer 1999 wedding-themed collection, "Millennium Dress: Yohji Yamamoto and the Couturiers of Paris” exhibition was held in Tokyo in February 2000.
This book was edited for the exhibition with catwalk photographs of the dresses that appeared in the exhibition together with an interview with Yohji Yamamoto and his design drawings.
It consists couture and ready-to-wear dresses between Spring/Summer 1999 and Spring/Summer 2000 by eight brands including Viktor & Rolf, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel (Karl Lagerfeld), Givenchy (Alexander McQueen) and Dries Van Noten.
