No.031 Borneol: Borneol(from China), Powder of Japanese bay tree (from Thailand)
Resin secreted from the trunk of kapur. In ancient China, it was valued at the same level as the “brain of dragon”, and therefore is appropriately named Ryunou (brain of dragon). Today, borneol is generated from camphor trees. The cool aroma is characteristic of the borneol and is often used as an aromatic substance to harmonize and accentuate the overall fragrance.
Only naturally generated borneol from China is used. It gives an exceptional aroma of pure freshness with a full-bodied softness, thereby creating a pleasant aroma that gently caresses the nasal cavity when heated.
