Matcha Bowl - Handmade in Kyoto, Japan

The simple and refined roundness of this matcha bowl is a Japanese beauty. The design is deep and thin, making it comfortable to use and easy to hold. If you look at the bottom of the matcha bowl, you will see a Japanese patterned tea pool. 
Enjoy every last sip with the auspicious Japanese pattern to the end.
It can also be enjoyed as a cafe bowl or soup bowl.

Kyo-yaki & Kiyomizu-yaki

“Kyo-yaki”' is a type of pottery that spread around the Higashiyama foothills from the early Edo period on the back of the popularity of the tea ceremony. And, “Kiyomizu-yaki'” was a type of pottery that was made on Gojozaka, the approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Currently, all types of pottery made in Kyoto are called “Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki”.
