STORY

The contrasting, vibrant colours include Edo Purple. It is dazzling and gives people energy. The repeated Sankuzushi pattern is inspired by the abacus or traditional ‘arithmetic tree’. It’s three lines arranged alternately in vertical and horizontal directions, adds spice to the design. 

About 三崩し SANKUZUSHI

This pattern was created by dismantling the abacus, or "sangi in Japanese, used until the end of the Muromachi period, and arranging the individual pieces in sets of three lines, vertically and horizontally.

The pattern is also known as "Sangi Kuzushi" or "Sankuzushi," as it was referred to during that time.

Due to its resemblance to the traditional Japanese architectural pattern called "ajiro," which is also used on ceilings and other elements in Japanese-style buildings, it is referred to as "Ajiro-gumi" or "Ajiro motif."

This product utilises TENCEL™, known for its features of a smooth texture, softness, excellent absorbency, quick-drying properties, and antibacterial characteristics.

TENCEL™ is a natural plant-based fibre made from renewable wood resources, making it an environmentally friendly material.
