Collection: Taiga Mori – Bizen Ware Ceramic Artist

Born in Inbe, Okayama, in 1974, Taiga Mori succeeded his grandfather’s Furai Kiln in 2000. His tea bowls, flower vessels and sculptural objects are known for their rough, organic character.

Mori approaches ceramics as a journey, exploring new techniques and perspectives while reconsidering the possibilities of Bizen ware. Through travel, international exhibitions and kiln-building projects, he brings an evolving contemporary vision to this traditional Japanese craft.
