Yoshiko Osada
Yoshiko Osada creates ceramics at her studio in Tokyo. She has held solo exhibitions in Japan. She has been creating ceramics characterized by marbling and carving out. The biggest feature of the carving technique is that there are no seams. It has a natural pattern and a unique presence because it is cut out of a solid mass of clay, which is made by layering clay in various ways.

Marbling is one of the decorative techniques in ceramics in which several different coloured clays are combined to create patterns.
