Japanese Matcha Whisk (Chasen) Kazuho | Kohchosai Kosuga

A beautifully crafted Japanese Takayama matcha whisk (Chasen) by Kohchosai Kosuga. The Kazuho style features approximately 70 fine bamboo tines, designed to whisk matcha smoothly and create a delicate, creamy foam. Suitable for both Usucha (thin tea) and Koicha (thick tea), it is an excellent choice for everyday matcha preparation, tea practice, and those discovering traditional Japanese tea tools.

The finely shaped tines offer flexibility and a soft whisking feel, helping bring out the smooth texture and aroma of matcha. A functional and beautiful piece of Japanese bamboo craftsmanship for your daily matcha ritual.

Size : Ø 6 × H 11 cm

Special care instructions

Due to the nature of the material, small cracks in the handle may develop over time. The cracks are a natural occurrence and do not affect the performance of the whisk.
Only use with water and matcha.
Rinse after every use and dry in open air.
We recommend storing your chasen on a whisk stand in order to preserve its shape and condition.
