VI/NYL GLOBAL #003 – Global Music & Culture Magazine
Global music and culture media VI/NYL has announced the worldwide release of VI/NYL GLOBAL #003, the third issue of its international edition. Published in full English by Caelum London Limited (London, UK), this global edition will be released worldwide in mid-April 2026, while the Japanese domestic edition will be available from Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
This issue features a luxury dual-cover (W-cover) format, spotlighting legendary rock icons ELLEGARDEN. Following their feature in the Japanese edition #028 (released March 7), they grace the global cover with a special edition that includes an exclusive, global-only photo cut.
For the Japanese domestic distribution, a special Japanese translation booklet is included, making it a perfect piece for both long-time fans of ELLEGARDEN's English lyrics and western music enthusiasts alike. (The global edition shares identical interior photography and interviews with the Japanese edition, fully translated into English.)

Since their formation in 1998, ELLEGARDEN has rushed through the Japanese rock scene with a unique speed and purity. Reflecting on their 28-year career without turning it into a mere retrospective, this feature delves deep into the "current, evolving ELLEGARDEN." The photo shoot was captured at a sentimental location that long-time fans will instantly recognize. Boasting the largest volume of photographs in the band’s history, these newly taken shots vividly capture the relationship, atmosphere, and unchanging tension built among the four members over the years across a massive 30-page feature.

Following their releases on World Music, they signed with Matador Records in 2023, with both Tracey Denim and The Twits being selected for numerous album-of-the-year lists worldwide. To coincide with their second tour in Japan for their new album Some Like It Hot, this issue presents a special intimate photo session and interview, capturing the band’s latest mood after appearing at major international music festivals.
